Submission Guidelines

Because The Nazarzine is a new online publication, we cannot pay compensation for articles, but we welcome you to submit to our site based on our guidelines here:

WRITERS’ (SUBMISSION) GUIDELINES

Because The Nazarzine is a new online publication, we cannot pay compensation for articles, but we welcome you to submit to our site based on our guidelines here: WRITERS' (SUBMISSION) GUIDELINES

1. Although you may follow these guidelines as expected, submission to the Nazarzine site doesn't guarantee publication.

2. Currently, we are publishing every six weeks to two months, though we accept material year round. As submissions accumulate, we will archive and blog in the future.

3. We welcome first-time writers, as long as you follow the directives here. Other than being published and receiving exposure, there is no compensation, though we may invite you to be a regular columnist for us.

4. Read our e-zine writings first to understand what we are looking for. Being an internet-based site, our audiences range worldwide. Write articles that are engaging, exciting, moving, and attract a global audience, along with being factual and documented.

5. We lean towards articles that are God-based and inspirational/religious, as well as hot, such as the New World Order, mind control, sustainable development, secret societies, antichrist, politics, biblical history and prophecy, philosophy, cloning, and other controversial issues. Fiction, along the same criteria, may be accepted in future issues. See Topics of Interest.

6. Submissions must not violate our Mission Statement(see Mission Statement); no violence, sexual content, or vulgarity will be accepted, as we are a CHRISTIAN publication. We deserve the right to edit your work for content and space.

7. We are a small operation and overworked. Please be patient with us.

8. Please make deadlines and keep the commitments you make to us.

9. We prefer the right to publish your work first, though we accept one-time only rights, or first rights, as are standard in the U.S.. We do not acknowledge submissions unless they are to be published.

10. Your work should be free of typos, punctuations, mechanical, and spelling errors, and present in a professional manner with the use of proper grammar and mechanics. All submissions must be well written, finely honed, and proofread. We may ask you to rewrite a submission if we feel it has potential but isn't quite what we're looking for. At 1500-2,000 words, articles must be free of redundancy and excess verbiage. Please do not expect us to shorten or lengthen your work, or serve as your private editor, so please do meet our word count; we don’t cut your work. If it’s longer than the word count stated here, then the work will not be considered for publication.

11. Other than being published and receiving exposure, there is no compensation, though we may invite you to be a regular columnist for us.

12. Submit with 1.5" margins all around. All material should be double spaced, and preferably written in courier in order to make formatting easier at our end. Please submit as an MS Word document attachment. Do not send your writings in the body of your e-mail. Please make certain that your submitted work is virus-free.

13. Include contact information for our editors to reach you, as well as a brief bio and photo. Your submissions - unless you state otherwise - allow us to print your work in any future issues, as well as publicize it, if we so desire. Should you prefer to use a pen name, just let us know.

14. All quoted work, statistics, and other info not of common knowledge, must be documented. No plagiarized material will be entertained by our editors, let alone published. If you turn in any plagiarized writings, you, and not the owners of this e-zine, will be libel for it.

15. We ask you to spread the word about our Nazarzine to get vital info out.

16. And don't forget to check out our Creative Services, Inc. site:www.creative-services.biz.

If we missed anything as to the directions of how to submit your work, contact us as e-mailing Gianni Hayes, editor/publisher, as editor@thenaz.us or publisher@thenaz.us or info@thenaz.us .
